Tiko Council Enhances Development in Mongo Zone Through Road Rehabilitation

On Friday, August 23rd, the gateway city of Tiko launched a crucial initiative to rehabilitate earth roads in the Mongo Zone, responding to the challenges posed by heavy rains and deteriorating road conditions nationwide.

The rehabilitation efforts were supervised by 4th Deputy Mayor Waindim Rudolf, alongside Chief of Town Planning Jean Esunge, focusing initially on the Mudeka road leading to St. Mary’s International College & University Institute.

According to Tiko Council officials, this project will expand to other neighborhoods within the municipality, aiming to enhance the movement of people, goods, and services throughout the region.

The roadwork has been met with enthusiasm by residents of the Mongo Zone, who expressed their gratitude for the improvements that promise to facilitate daily commutes and support local businesses. This initiative underscores Tiko Council’s commitment to fostering development and enhancing infrastructure for the community.
